HKGG100 app for iPhone and iPad
To celebrate the centenary of the Hong Kong Girl Guides, the Association has organized a series of celebration events. One of them is the “Centenary Challenge Badge”. To echo the theme of centenary celebration : "Connect, Grow, Impact", challenging and interesting activities/actions is prepared for participants to know about themselves and their community (Connect), develop their potentials (Grow) and aware of social issues and so work with teammates to bring about action plan to influence the society in a positive way (Impact). In order to celebrate the great event, we invite members of different sections to participate in the Centenary Challenge together!
There are 3 categories under the Centenary Challenge Badge: “Connect”, “Grow” and “Impact”. Various challenges have been prepared in each category, in order to demostrate the WAGGGS 5 Girl’s Learning Methods(5M), and also the 6 Life Skills that nowadays girls have to be equipped, named as 6Cs:-

Moreover, Chellenge Stations would be set up around Hong Kong such as HKGGA’s Campsites and Activity Centres in phases, to provide additional challenges for participants to take.
Participants have to complete challenges under the 3 Categories (Connect, Grow, Impact) plus 3 Challenge Stations in order to get a “Centenary Challenge Badge” as an Award.
How you can start and record your challenges?
“Centenary Challenge Booklet and Badge Set” is available for Happy Bees, Brownies and Golden Guides at the Guide Shop. The Booklets contains the challenges and a record for participants. A Centenary souvenir badge would also be given when you purchase the booklet. For Girl Guides, Rangers and Adult Members, you may download the Mobile Application “HKGG100” to complete the challenges, and purchase the Centenary souvenir pin in guide shop!
